Full-Time NBCU Academy Coordinator

NBCU Academy Coordinator will work with NBCU Academy to ensure program presence on campus and consistent engagement with all academic partners, external and potential partners.

The coordinator will:

1. Create, edit, format, and distribute content for events, programs, and marketing.
2. Collaborate with external campus partners to track campus events and opportunities for collaboration.
3. Design and distribute the monthly CONNECT Newsletter, identifying, researching, and writing campus-focused stories.
4. Drive social media and oversee/track engagement.

Note: This is a short-term position (24 months or less) unless otherwise amended or terminated upon completion of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain program presence and engagement with academic and external partners.
• Create and distribute content for events, programs, and marketing.
• Track and collaborate on campus events and partnership opportunities.
• Design and distribute the monthly CONNECT Newsletter (including writing campus stories).
• Manage social media engagement and track engagement metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in media.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
• Strong journalistic and editorial judgment.
• Ability to track data and use Microsoft Office and digital content development programs.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Fully remote position.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $20-$22/hour
• Eligible for 401K after 1000 hours worked in 12 consecutive months.
• Eligible for health and welfare benefits on the first day of employment.
• Eligible to participate in employee stock purchase program after 90 days of employment.
