Tietoevry Create is seeking a Network Support Engineer to join our project for a client in telecommunications.
About the Client: Arelion, a leading IP services provider with a global network.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer services and act on alarms and incidents.
- Interact with third-party providers for troubleshooting.
- Coordinate incident resolution and perform in-depth analysis.
- Coordinate planned maintenance and suggest best practices.
- Contribute to the knowledge database.
Requirements:
- Solid foundation in operational knowledge of IP (Cisco, Arista, Juniper), Mobile Data, and Transmission (fiber and xWDM) (Infinera, Ciena) platforms.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, DWDM).
- Experience in an international telecom environment (NOC, Technical Support).
- Ability to take on operational leadership and make effective decisions.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent in professional English and Spanish.
