Opportunity at a Glance: Lead the BSN program at a campus/online location. Manage the delivery of the academic nursing program. Shape & mentor a collaborative team. Ensure curricula are current.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for academic strategy execution, NCLEX pass rates, graduation rates, curriculum delivery and faculty engagement.
- Provide oversight for the execution of the BSN academic strategy.
- Lead the development of a cohesive academic team.
- Drive the implementation of the institution's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes.
- Plan and design faculty workloads.
- Assess and evaluate candidates.
- Ensure academic leadership creates plans for orientation & onboarding.
- Provide oversight of associate deans to design faculty schedules.
- Develop plans for projects and goals.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for strategy development.
- Create a well defined plan for FCAC participation.
- Collaborate in the development of annual budgets.
- Serve as resource, mentor and policy interpreter.
- Initiate leadership in the development of new programs.
- Positively represent Chamberlain University.
- Empower a positive environment for faculty, staff and students.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing Required, Doctorate preferred.
- 5+ years full time experience in nursing education with 3+ years in leadership.
- Current unencumbered RN licensure.
