MoCaFi is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Lead to optimize payment operations and ensure seamless service delivery. This role enhances operational efficiency, drives process improvements, and supports financial inclusion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Card Management: handle all card shipment requests, including bulk shipments, ensure replacement cards are shipped, maintain cardholder information, update funding schedules, manage card distribution logs.
- Payment Processing & Reconciliation: manage payment processing tasks (ERAP, ACH, bill pay), reconcile funding balances, maintain merchant tables, scrub client files, manage IRC accounts, and report.
- Process Improvements: identify and implement process improvements for operational performance and cost reduction.
- Vendor Management: manage relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Compliance: monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, send annual privacy and error resolution notices, and manage the escheatment process.
- Reporting & Analysis: analyze operational data and generate reports for performance tracking.
- UAT & Documentation: perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure applications meet requirements, and develop and maintain operational documentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and new initiative support.
- Strategic Planning: participate in strategic planning and contribute to operational goals.
- Implementation Support: support the implementation of new payment technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years' experience in the payments industry.
- 5+ years' experience in payments or consumer lending.
- Expert in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Fintech company and bank experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
