Job Details
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate journal entries with supporting documentation by due date, including payroll entries.
- Review posted expenditures, run depreciation, and book disposals.
- Prepare cash entries (bank deposits, credit card charges).
- Update balance sheet reconciliations with notes and documentation.
- Compile data for audits (external and internal).
- Serve as primary contact for Square and ISF revenue platforms, including user training.
- Reconcile weekly deposits/transfers for ISF funds.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, management, clients, and schools.
- Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in conference calls for SST/School finance questions.
- Respond promptly to emails and messages from internal customers.
- Research items and prepare reports as requested.
- Propose time-saving efficiencies and improvements.
- Serve as backfill for other department members.
- Document all tasks and update departmental procedures semi-annually.
- Perform other accounting tasks as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related)
- CPA or CMA a plus
- 4+ years of direct accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software (Intacct, Square, Ramp, Bloomerang)

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 (USD)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: 12-month administrative schedule
Location: Hybrid (Nashville and Antioch)
Equipment: Laptop computers with internet/email access provided.
