Full-Time Patient Enrollment Coordinator

Patient Enrollment Coordinator is an entry-level position within the Patient Enrollment Department at Wake Research. The ideal candidate is a highly engaged professional with a positive attitude and growth mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain full ownership of initiating phone contact to potential study participants.
• Conduct phone-based pre-screening interviews to determine eligibility.
• Provide detailed study information and answer patient inquiries.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Assess patient eligibility for other studies if disqualified.
• Schedule onsite screening visits.
• Input patient information and call notes into the CTMS database.
• Track information and report data as directed.
• Attend scheduled meetings.
• Maintain compliance with all standardized processes and procedures, HIPAA, FDA, GCP, IRB guidelines, and M3 Wake Research SOPs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Professional medical certification, associate's, or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of inbound/outbound call center, phone-based, and/or public-facing customer service experience required.
• Previous experience as a medical assistant, nurse, or EMT strongly preferred.
• Prior clinical research, healthcare, or medical terminology experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new information.
• Ability to use new software and technology.
