Full-Time Patient Enrollment Coordinator (Remote)

The Patient Enrollment Coordinator position is an entry-level position within the Patient Enrollment Department at Wake Research. It offers significant career development opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Initiate phone contact to potential study participants from various sources (internal campaigns, databases, etc.).
2. Conduct phone-based pre-screening interviews to determine eligibility.
3. Provide study information and answer patient inquiries.
4. Assess patient eligibility for alternative studies if disqualified from initial study.
5. Schedule onsite screening visits for eligible patients.
6. Input patient information into designated databases.
7. Track call outcomes and data.
8. Attend scheduled meetings.
9. Maintain compliance with regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GCP, IRB, etc.).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of inbound/outbound call center or customer service experience.
• Professional medical certification, associates, or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience as a medical assistant, nurse, or EMT preferred.
• Clinical research or medical terminology experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new information.
• Proficient with technology.
