Tiger Analytics is seeking a Power BI Architect to lead the design, strategy, and governance of the enterprise BI platform using Microsoft Power BI and the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable BI solutions.
- Conduct capability assessments.
- Define and enforce Power BI governance frameworks.
- Provide effort estimations and delivery planning.
- Design and optimize semantic/OLAP models.
- Establish and manage a central metric store.
- Architect and oversee dashboard/report design.
- Partner with Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Data Lake teams.
- Collaborate with Microsoft partner teams.
- Define and enforce CI/CD strategies.
- Oversee data refresh automation.
- Guide and mentor BI Engineers.
- Stay current on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium, and emerging BI trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, with 5+ years in Power BI architecture.
- Experience in designing scalable BI/analytics infrastructure solutions.
- Expertise in Power BI Premium/Fabric, DAX, Power Query (M), Tabular Models, and large semantic/OLAP models.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL Server.
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
