Full-Time Power Transmission Engineer

An international design and manufacturing company needs an Electrical Engineer for overhead power transmission lines. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work anywhere in the US. Permanent US work authorization required.

Responsibilities:

• Research and development of electrical insulation for power transmission lines.
• Knowledge of market practices in design, construction, and commissioning of transmission and distribution projects.
• Study power transmission solutions, identify business opportunities in grid projects.
• Evaluating projects for best practices, government compliance, and market standards.
• Collaboration with marketing, management, and operations.
• Interaction with suppliers, customers, finance, and sales.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of electrical overhead power transmission line projects up to 500 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of three years' experience with power line CAD systems (PLS-CADD) and PLS POLE transmission line engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.
• Experience in developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

• Minimum BSEE degree required.
