Full-Time Power Transmission Engineer

An international design and manufacturing company seeks an Electrical Engineer for overhead power transmission line products.

Location: Fully remote in the US.

Requirements:

• US Permanent Authorization required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with power line CAD systems (PLS-CADD) and PLS POLE transmission line engineering.
• Proficiency in designing transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.
• Experience developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical overhead power transmission line projects up to 500 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Strong understanding of power transmission solutions, market practices, and government compliance standards.
• Proven experience working on collaborative teams within R&D for electrical insulation in power transmission lines and structures.
• Knowledge of market practices in the design, construction, and commissioning of power transmission and distribution projects.
• Ability to evaluate projects for best practices and government compliance standards, and to capture business opportunities within grid projects.
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with suppliers, customers, finance, and sales, and working closely with marketing, management, and operations.
