Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer with deep expertise in cloud data warehousing, data engineering, and AI/ML. You'll collaborate with the sales team to present tailored solutions utilizing platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support & Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team, design cloud data architectures (Databricks, Snowflake), and present tailored demonstrations, POCs, and architectural walkthroughs.
- AI & Data Engineering Expertise: Understand customer data engineering workflows, advise on data pipelines and AI/ML integration (model development, deployment, integration into data workflows).
- Customer Engagement & Support: Act as a trusted advisor, develop strong customer relationships, and ensure smooth implementation.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work with internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, Data Science), train internal teams, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Technical Enablement & Best Practices: Build technical documentation, contribute to best practices and case studies, and lead internal training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), data engineering concepts (pipelines, ETL/ELT), and AI/ML technologies.
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Proven ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders, excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science), 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, AI/ML, or sales engineering. Experience with cloud data platforms and AI/ML tools highly desirable.
Bonus Skills: Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS, familiarity with BI tools and data visualization techniques, Agile development environment experience, DevOps experience.
