Turner & Townsend are seeking a Preconstruction Zoning / Due Diligence Manager to lead site selection and planning for an expanding network of EV service centers. This role evaluates site feasibility, zoning, and permitting.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Lead preconstruction assessments.
- Interpret codes, develop entitlement strategies.
- Liaise with city departments.
- Manage multiple projects.
- Align with internal teams.
- Identify permitting risks.
- Create standardized processes.
- Provide recommendations on site viability.
- Evaluate site access and circulation.
- Manage third-party consultants.
- Identify and communicate site-specific risks.
- SOX control responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in zoning and due diligence.
- Proven track record managing multi-site development programs.
- Expertise in municipal codes and permitting processes.
- Experience developing scalable systems.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with EV infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills.
