Overview:
We’re looking for a talented Principal Consultant to help our customers gain tangible value from their data. Our consulting services emphasize analytics enablement, data preparation, and data science. We specialize in Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, KNIME, Power Platform and Snowflake.
Responsibilities:
- Gather client requirements through prototyping, refining them as needed during the engagement
- Execute consulting engagements successfully, delivering high-quality project outcomes
- Manage client expectations through weekly status updates and proactive feedback sessions
- Collaborate with clients to develop scalable, durable analytics solutions using tools such as Alteryx, KNIME and similar low-code/No-code tools along with hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, Python and other data sources
- Creating Standard workflows, Analytical apps, reusable Macros and automated reports
- Certification in Advanced level in both Alteryx and KNIME
- Manage team time effectively and provide clear project timelines to the Analytics Project Manager, sales team, and leadership
- Partner with the sales team to identify additional sales opportunities within client accounts and assist in account growth and expansion
- Lead capability stand-ups, team meetings, and/or workshops
- Collaborate with marketing to identify consultants for blog posts and webinars aligned with the consultant’s expertise
- Mentor and manage consultants and senior consultants, ensuring alignment with job descriptions and fostering professional growth
- Drive organic growth of accounts and relationships, fostering extensions and new business opportunities with existing clients
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms
- Expertise in data preparation using Alteryx or KNIME, or other tools such as Matillion, Dataiku, Coalesce
- Proven experience to create scalable, durable analytics solutions
- Eagerness to learn and integrate with new data visualization tools
- Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users
- Knowledge of SQL and experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models
- Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication and project management
- Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures
Preferred Experience:
- 6+ years of Consulting experience in Delivering solutions using Alteryx or Knime
- Experience working with connecting to data sources like SAP, Snowflake, AWS,Azure, Databricks, SharePoint etc
- Experience with Python and/or R Scripting
