Contractor Producer / Project Manager

Producers are crucial to Eventbase's success. They act as client point of contact and lead production of event apps. Teams work alongside Production, Sales, and Product teams to integrate the platform with client needs.

Successful Producers combine project management and customer success skills, focusing on complex offerings, mobile applications, and enterprise companies.

This remote, full-time contract position covers parental leave with an expected end date of May 15th, 2026. No guarantee of a permanent role after the contract period.

Pacific Standard Time zone hours.

Candidates must reside in Canada with valid working status.

What You'll Do:

• Primary point of contact for clients: setting expectations, leading project updates, managing timelines, and collaborating with Sales, Production, and Product.
• Training and onboarding new clients.
• Partnering with clients to recommend features/functionalities for optimal attendee experiences.
• Running company-wide project teams for concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives.
• Project management (timeline, scope, resources).
• Motivating internal production teams.
• Assessing risks, establishing task ownership, and communicating objectives.
• Assisting clients in handling risks and troubleshooting issues.
• Using project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Basecamp, 10,000ft, Slack).
• Managing multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines.
• Travel to client events as needed.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years managing end-to-end projects, ideally in digital space, with mobile experience.
• Premier client experience as a Project or Account Manager.
• Agile project management experience.
• Managing client expectations (in-person, email, phone).
• Leading web/mobile development projects from scope definition to launch with six-figure budgets.
• Leading/motivating internal teams (up to 8 members).
• Strong technical understanding (tech savvy, mobile app lover).
• High ownership and problem-solving skills (managing difficult/chaotic situations).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to get hands-on in the trenches.

Nice to Have:

• Scrum Master Certification and/or PMP designation.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
• Jira experience.
