RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Duarte, CA that is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager I to join our team at a leading research hospital.
Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of technology and infrastructure projects that support the hospital's mission to advance healthcare research and delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and external vendors, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Key responsibilities include creating project plans, tracking progress, identifying potential risks, and facilitating communication across departments.
Duties:
* Leads the delivery of a complex project; Maintains a tactical focus; Sets clear objectives and defined deliverables
* Develops cost benefit analyses for the project, communicates to an executive committee, creates and reports project status utilizing a dashboard, allocates resources, defines project governance policies and manages the financial concerns
* Utilizes and effectively communicates technical components of an initiative to applicable parties
REQUIREMENTS:
* BA or BS required plus minimum 1-3 years of direct relevant experience
* A strong ability to manage competing priorities, a deep understanding of healthcare environments, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role
* Ability to lead a cross-functional team while motivating team members to their highest potential
* Requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills
* Excellent analytical skills; Interfaces effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units
* Effectively utilizes external vendors and internal resources
* Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
* Prior experience in healthcare project management or a related field is preferreroject Manager
