Full-Time Proposal Writer

Proposal Writer is responsible for crafting high-quality proposal content in response to government bid solicitations. Assist in all stages of proposal development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling proposal narratives aligned with solicitation requirements, creating engaging and easy-to-read content.
• Drive creation of proposal outlines, templates, and supporting documents.
• Write, edit, and proofread ClassWallet responses to RFPs.
• Contribute to template creation and process refinement.
• Conduct research on government agencies, programs, and procurement processes.
• Gather and organize information for proposal development, assisting in analyzing solicitation documents to identify key requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Format proposal content and documents according to client specifications and style guides.
• Assist in identifying and inserting images, tables, and visual elements to represent complex content.
• Support finalization and proposal submission.
• Collaborate with internal teams, communicate effectively using Google Workspace to provide updates, seek clarification, and address feedback.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proposal writing experience (government RFPs preferred).
• Ability to articulate value of ClassWallet solution compellingly, aligning proposal responses with marketing messaging and brand strategy.
• Familiarity with proposal processes (e.g., Shipley method).
• Strong ability to write clear, concise, and engaging proposals.
• Understanding of government RFP/RFI/RFQ or other complex contract bids.
• Excellent research and analytical skills (analyze and interpret business/government data).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with software like Google Suite, MS Word, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, or Adobe Photoshop.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including adherence to style guides.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
