QA Manager - Consumer Complaint & Adverse Events

About You

As Quality Assurance Manager for NUTRAFOL, you will lead the Consumer Complaint/Adverse Event Management Program, supporting growing product portfolios. You will bring deep expertise in dietary supplements and cosmetics, ensuring adverse event compliance with FDA guidelines. This role reports directly into the Director, QA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Consumer Complaint, Adverse Event Program
  • Ensure consumer contact follow-ups using appropriate questions
  • Review adverse events to determine potential seriousness
  • File serious adverse event reports with FDA (as needed)
  • Complete adverse event assessments and investigations
  • Track and trend adverse events monthly/quarterly
  • Monitor metrics & KPIs
  • Work closely with 3rd party medical advisors/vendors
  • Support consumer complaint/adverse event database implementation
  • Gather in-depth adverse event information
  • Ensure program readiness for audits and regulatory inspections
  • Participate in cross-functional teams
  • Lead collaboratively, emphasizing teamwork & consensus
  • Manage team tasks, reviews, motivation, and workload division
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., quality assurance, science, medical sciences)
  • 5+ years of US dietary supplement/consumer healthcare QA experience within a wellness/supplement brand
  • Strong knowledge of FDA guidelines & regulations for consumer complaints, especially for dietary supplements & cosmetics
  • Hands-on experience in adverse events compliance and GMP standards
  • Experience executing QA GMP compliance for a broad portfolio of dietary supplements, cosmetics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills (internal/external)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Team player with independent work ability
  • Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Excellent English written & verbal communication skills
