Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer with expertise in automotive electrical systems. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of electrical components and wiring systems in our vehicles.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance activities for electrical systems.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, FMEAs, and PPAP documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support supplier quality management, including audits and APQP processes.
- Monitor and analyze quality KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive quality engineering, preferably in electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive standards and tools: IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics, circuit analysis, and wiring schematics.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OEM or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Familiarity with EOL testing, CAN communication, and electrical validation protocols.
- Certification in Six Sigma, CQE, or similar is a plus.
