Job Details

The Screening Team is dedicated to developing and commercializing early cancer detection products.

About the Role: The field-based Regional Sales Director leads a team of Account Executives within a designated region.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target to identify early adopters and generate SHIELD adoption.
  • Partner with labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
  • Build relationships with key thought leaders and decision makers.
  • Manage 8-12 direct reports, including recruiting, coaching, and development.
  • Manage sales targets and report progress.
  • Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Ensure effective use of sales process, product marketing, and product promotion.
  • Manage open territories and recruit new personnel.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan for the region.
  • Collect customer insights, market trends, and competitive data.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and commercial team members.
  • Demonstrate company values and lead regional/national projects.
  • Ensure sales force compliance with Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies.
  • Meet customer access requirements.
  • Travel approximately 75% of working time.

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of direct customer-facing sales experience in medical/diagnostic/med device.
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Measurable revenue generation at a relevant company.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams promoting products to primary care providers.
  • Experience in product launch.

  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Effective coaching and education skills.
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills, sales force reporting and tracking experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, listening, problem-solving, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Strategic business analysis and planning skills.
  • Confidentiality and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor's degree in life science, biology, business, or marketing preferred.
