Full-Time Research Analyst - Aviation

The Research Analyst at CAPA – Centre for Aviation delivers timely and comprehensive commercial aviation news.

Role Accountability and Duties:

• Research & News Gathering: Conduct searches for aviation news across sources. Maintain and expand aviation news sources and press release databases. Collaborate with team members.
• News Brief Writing: Write concise news briefs for the CAPA website and email alerts. Meet KPIs for news output and quality.
• Insight Article Writing: Contribute to Insight by researching and writing longer-format articles. Meet KPIs for Insight article output and quality.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Share news items with other teams, provide content for social media, and support research for events.
• News Coverage at Events: Attend CAPA Summits to provide news brief coverage.
• Continuous Improvement: Offer feedback for improving workflows and product quality.

Education & Experience:

• Graduate-level qualification in aviation, tourism, or related field is advantageous.
• Previous experience in aviation or tourism is advantageous.
• Proficiency in languages other than English is advantageous.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting KPIs.
• Strong computer and internet research proficiency.
