Full-Time SaaS Systems Engineer

SaaS Systems Engineer will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation of various SaaS delivery environments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Day-to-day monitoring of production service delivery environment to ensure optimal operations and SLA compliance.
2. Identifying optimization opportunities and resolving problems affecting service delivery across applications, shared services, middleware, and databases.
3. Operating and maintaining systems for new customer, application, and feature provisioning.
4. Providing insight on trends to proactively address customer and corporate requirements.
5. Participating in software design and development to maximize operational efficiency and architecture.
6. Software deployment and configuration management in QA and Production environments.
7. Developing tools and utilities to support Operations and SaaS service delivery.
8. Providing level 2/3 support for customer-initiated issues.
9. Maintaining and improving IT infrastructure (servers, laptops, networks, telecommunications).
10. Delivering outstanding help desk support to employees.
11. Establishing, maintaining, and managing vendors for hardware, software, and services.
12. Identifying systems deficiencies and recommending solutions.
13. Documenting forecasts, plans, and resolutions.
14. Innovating, promoting, and driving adoption of tools, technologies, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of corporate infrastructure experience (preferably in software development)
• 5+ years of experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise technologies
• 4+ years of experience in Windows/Linux environment administration
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
• 3+ years of experience with AWS / Azure
• 3+ years of experience in scripting and programming
• 2+ years of experience with help desk, network connectivity, and telecommunications

Additional Technical Skills:

• VMware experience
• Automation using VB, PowerShell, or similar
• Virtualized infrastructure deployment and management
• Familiarity with HTML, SCC, Java, and ASP.Net
