Full-Time Safety Systems Specialist

Safety Systems Specialist will work within the PV Client Success and Safety Systems IT Team.

Responsibilities include database activities (data migrations), requiring strong SQL developer skills. Technical expertise on pharmacovigilance systems, specifically Argus Safety database (planning and validation) is crucial.

Key tasks include:

• Supporting and maintaining adverse event reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Leading client data transfers (imports/exports).
• Developing, validating, and implementing reports.
• Querying databases for inspections.
• Identifying database requirements for improved efficiency.
• Managing the configuration/validation of the pharmacovigilance master tenant.
• Leading project kick-offs for client enterprise creation.
• Gathering functional and technical requirements.
• Leading safety database upgrades/patches.
• Managing and escalating system issues with vendors.
• Assisting with authoring work instructions, SOPs, and forms.
• Maintaining professional knowledge through continuing education.
• Mentoring staff and conducting training sessions.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related experience. Experience with pharmacovigilance systems (especially Oracle Argus Safety) is essential.

Skills required include proficient SQL and/or PS/SQL, system validation, and compliance with global regulations.

Excellent communication, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential.
