We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Consumer team, specializing in the television market. This role combines primary research, data analysis, and industry expertise to deliver comprehensive, country-level market intelligence on the TV set market in China and the global market.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence Collection: Conduct ongoing primary research through interviews with OEMs and ODMs in China, as well as component suppliers and distributors/retailers, to develop country-level market insights, which include high-quality sell-in data across China and key overseas markets where Chinese vendors have business operations. Develop and maintain a robust network of industry contacts in Mainland China and Chinese companies’ overseas subsidiaries.
- Data Analysis & Integration: Working closely with the data analyst teams to combine primary research findings with secondary data sources to create comprehensive market models. Enhance country-level data accuracy by developing advanced methodologies and incorporating additional data sources that effectively fill gaps through strategic triangulation techniques.
- Industry Expertise: Evaluate in-market, go-to-market strategies of leading Chinese TV manufacturers in the key countries globally, including product pricing, market positioning, distribution strategy, and partnerships, by working with our global team and other industry networks. Monitor and analyze the China and Chinese vendors’ local manufacturing facilities and hubs, vendors’ local production strategy, processes, ODM capacity constraints, and supply chain dynamics.
- Reporting & Communication: Key contributor to the quarterly country-level market tracker and forecast reports, working closely with the regional and global TV sets team. Present findings in clear, structured formats suitable for various stakeholders Contribute to the development of new research initiatives focused on China TV market dynamics and Chinese vendors’ global expansion strategy Respond to client inquiries, working with account managers to ensure research needs are met

Experience & Education: 5-10 years of professional experience in sales and business development, or relevant role within the TV industry Preferably from TV sets vendor side or ODMs with extensive industry network and experience Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with diverse data sets Excellent network of industry contacts across Chinese TV OEMs and ODMs.Self-disciplined to work independently with minimal supervision Cultural awareness for working within a global virtual team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
