Full-Time Senior Application Engineer

About the role: Mozilla IT is seeking an outstanding engineer to support the ERP system daily, managing NetSuite initiatives and business processes. This role requires strong architecture, implementation, training, support, documentation, management, and technical/functional assistance skills.

What you'll do:

• Plan, review, and revise functional configuration, customizations, automation, enhancements, system maintenance, and business process testing (including custom fields, forms, records, workflows, searching, reporting, and user roles).
• Research and resolve issues, design new workflows.
• Provide thought leadership in best practices and solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of latest integration technologies to improve process and user interaction.
• Lead new releases, test updates, and roll out new features.
• Work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Communicate clearly and concisely; lead discovery interviews.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.
• Act as liaison with Third-Party Vendor Support.
• Provide internal system/technical support to users.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend key technologies to support and improve business processes centered on the NetSuite platform.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong understanding of financial processes.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with NetSuite (customizing, business operations, systems development, business systems interaction, integration, hands-on support).
• Direct experience supporting and integrating NetSuite with Business Applications.
• Strong knowledge of application integration technologies and APIs.
• Proven skills in SQL, JavaScript, and Excel formulas.
• NetSuite Certifications; BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and project management skills; ability to handle priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
