About Nearform: Digital and AI engineering consultancy focused on experience-led modernization for enterprise clients in UK and Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructure for cloud-based applications.
- Create deployment architecture and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Design high-availability approaches.
- Implement monitoring architecture (dashboards, alerts, escalations).
Essential Skills:
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
- Enterprise-level delivery experience in remote agile environments
- AWS expertise in managing and automating complex platforms/applications
- Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Scripting and automation using Python
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies
- Understanding of observability practices
- Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and microservices
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills with stakeholders and clients
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Golang
- Experience with other cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, GCP)
