Full-Time Senior Billing Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Billing Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team.

In this role, you will support new billing platforms and serve as a subject matter expert.

This role handles technical and functional tasks, contributing to system development and optimization.

You will report to the Manager, Billing Systems.

• Implement system enhancements & updates for improved efficiency, data accuracy, and system performance.
• Support development & testing of billing products/services, ensuring business needs and system integrity.
• Collaborate with Contact Center, Customer Services, IT, and Finance teams to streamline billing processes and ensure accurate data flow.
• Monitor billing system performance metrics, providing insights for improvement.
• Resolve billing issues swiftly, minimizing disruptions & enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Identify system improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions.
• Evaluate new project impact on existing systems for smooth integration.
• Participate in technical discussions and decision-making.
• Define, document, and communicate business requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on reporting fields for accurate data.
• Perform system administration duties to maintain integrity, security, and functionality.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a systems analyst.
• Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills for teamwork.
• Familiarity with industry-specific billing regulations and revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
