Full-Time Senior Business Analyst

Overall Purpose

As a Business Analyst you will be part of the Tasman Change Team and will be responsible for requirements definition and change request management.

What will you be doing?

• Collating, understanding and documenting business requirements for change requests.
• Creating clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Analysing and document both current (As Is) and proposed (To Be) business processes.
• Process mapping and re-engineering to create efficiencies.
• Presenting business benefits and articulating requirements at all levels.
• Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and clients.
• Gathering requirements and creating spike/ change requests from incidents and errors.
• Ensuring that deliverables and documentation meets standards.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies.
• Assisting in the development of test plans and performing user acceptance testing.

Expertise

• 8+ years experience in Business Analysis/Requirements Gathering and Business Change roles.
• Experience in Financial Services and specially Mortgages, Loans or Payment sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience and knowledge of creating in-depth User Acceptance Criteria
• Strong understanding of financial controls and risk
• Demonstrable experience working on operational and technology process analysis and design
• Proficient in the use of Visio or equivalent process mapping solutions
• Process identification and mapping
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile development methods
• Proven stakeholder management experience
