The Senior Clinical Trial Associate supports Guardant Health customers, the Clinical Laboratory, Clinical Development, and Alliance Management. Familiarity with clinical trials is essential.
Clinical Trial Operations (CTO) provides superior service to customers. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to inquiries about clinical trial orders, escalating as needed.
- Reviewing and adhering to clinical trial protocols.
- Ensuring clinical trial sites follow protocols for specimen submission.
- Understanding Guardant Health technology, testing procedures, and reporting.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Educating and training study sites with Clinical Trial Managers.
- Contacting physicians and medical personnel to obtain missing information.
- Training new employees on clinical trials.
- Assisting the CTO Manager with testing software and process improvements.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assisting Clinical Trial Associates (CTAs) with customer inquiries.
- Ensuring team Turn-Around Times are met.
- Identifying trends and reporting successes/learnings to leadership.
- Performing additional administrative duties.
- Modeling Guardant values.
- Mentoring new hires.
- Reviewing Salesforce dashboards and prioritizing casework for multiple product lines.
- Assigning work to others as needed.
Qualifications require:

- Prior experience with clinical trials preferred.

- Ability to work in an office and laboratory environment (noise, fumes, biohazards).
- Minimum 4-6 years related experience or education in Clinical Science.
- Salesforce.com and LIMS experience preferred.
- Microsoft applications, Outlook, and Word experience required.
