Full-Time Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a world-class Senior Data Engineer to help shape and scale our data platform.

You'll design and build robust, scalable data pipelines for analytics, machine learning, and customer features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes ensuring data accuracy.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers.
• Collaborate with peers to understand requirements for business insights.
• Deliver high-impact data solutions.
• Maintain and promote best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends.
• Help scope work and break down tasks for high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, focused on building data platforms.
• Excellent understanding of data modeling.
• Experience building and maintaining a modern data stack.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka/Amazon Kinesis, Apache Airflow/Dagster, and dbt.
• Building resilient and well-tested data systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong foundation in computer science.
• Experience influencing strategic decisions.
• Experience organizing technical workshops.
• Deep understanding of scalable data system design, including data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Strong advocate of automated testing and CI/CD.
• Highly collaborative with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
