Role Overview: In this role, you'll be programming in Python to create the core software powering advanced computer vision and modeling applications. These tools utilize complex math to interpret and generate visual data, like images or 3D models.
Responsibilities:
- Implement core deep-learning/computer vision algorithms in Python.
- Apply cutting-edge research in machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand product vision and customer requirements.
- Use Git for source code management.
- Deploy and test code on large-scale geospatial datasets.
- Interact with remote machines via a Unix shell.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience training artificial neural networks (or related experience)
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and Keras (or similar frameworks)
- Experience with geospatial datasets and tools (e.g., GIS, GeoPandas)
Desired Qualifications:
- PhD degree (preferred)
- Familiarity with modern C++
- Experience with Git (preferred)
- Solid mathematical background (linear algebra, probability, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills
Environment:
- Linux and macOS development and production environments
- Strong Unix shell (e.g., bash) skills required
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $175,000-$215,000. Company sponsored benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and various perks.
