Full-Time Senior Editor, Restaurant Hospitality

Informa Connect Foodservice is seeking an innovative, passionate Senior Editor to contribute to Restaurant Hospitality (RH), the leading publication for independent restaurants and chefs.

This role involves developing, reporting, and writing high-quality content for digital, social, and multimedia platforms.

1. Contribute daily news reports across the restaurant industry.
2. Develop enterprise stories regularly.
3. Assign, copy edit, and collaborate with freelancers for weekly content.
4. Manage the annual content calendar and coordinate necessary assets.
5. Collaborate with sales to create revenue-generating content.
6. Contribute to Nation’s Restaurant News, as needed.
7. Follow audience analytics and create content like galleries, lists, and accolades.
8. Cultivate industry expertise for content creation and external appearances.
9. Maintain strong relationships with industry contacts.
10. Create multimedia content (videos, podcasts).
11. Keep RH’s social media active.
12. Moderate virtual and live panels.
13. Travel to industry conferences (5%).
14. Support overall publication strategy.

• Proven senior-level editorial experience.
• Deep knowledge of content quality, style guides, and multimedia production.
• Experience across print, digital, social, and multimedia platforms.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus.
• CMS platform experience preferred.
• Workflow tool experience (Trello, Slack, SharePoint) is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: $72,250 - $90,000 (dependent on experience)
