Full-Time Senior Engineer, DataOps

What you'll do:

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure data platform design, implementation, and maintenance using IaC.
• Build data integration solutions with software and systems teams.
• Design and build data models using tools like Lucid, Talend, Erwin, MySQL Workbench.
• Define and enhance enterprise data models.
• Review application data systems for data governance policy adherence.
• Design and build ETL/ELT infrastructure and automation.
• Design and implement BI dashboards.
• Design and implement high-availability, reliable, scalable, and performant data infrastructure components.
• Design, train, and deploy ML models.
• Implement monitoring solutions for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with security teams on data platform compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, business partners).

Location & Travel Expectations: In-person meetings and events required. Remote applicants within the US considered (excluding NYC).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field/equivalent experience.
• 7+ years DataOps Engineer experience (manufacturing/automotive preferred).
• Streaming/event-based architecture experience.
• Proficient in building data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Kinesis, Firehose.
• Experience with various database types (structured, unstructured, time series).
• Cloud data storage solution experience (RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Data lakehouse solutions (Databricks).
• AWS/Azure cloud platform experience.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform) experience.
• ML model development/deployment experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
