Full-Time Senior Finance Specialist

Dealfront is seeking a Senior Finance Specialist to join our dynamic international accounting team and support our German entities' financial operations.

You'll be primarily responsible for:

• Preparing and reconciling monthly financial statements of German entities, ensuring compliance with HGB accounting principles.
• Reconciling general ledger and sub-ledgers (payroll, prepayments, fixed assets).
• Accrual and amortization of income and expenses.
• Reconciling prepaid expenses of German entities.
• Daily accounting tasks (vendor bills, travel expenses, bank payments).
• Fixed asset accounting, ensuring correct recognition and depreciation.
• Preparing and reconciling advance VAT returns.
• Project work: Improving internal policies, processes, and systems.

Requirements:

• Certified accountant or Bachelor's/Master's degree in tax, accounting, or finance, or equivalent vocational training.
• Profound knowledge of German accounting principles (HGB).
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Payhawk, SAP, Workday).
• Understanding of international accounting and consolidation.
• Fluent written and spoken German (C2) and English.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and quality-oriented.
• Analytical mindset with a natural affinity for numbers.
