Full-Time Senior Financial Accountant

CoinList is a platform for crypto projects. We accelerate blockchain technology by supporting projects and connecting them with investors.

The Opportunity: As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll maintain accurate books and records, supporting CoinList's growth. You'll work closely with the Controller and CFO on financial reporting.

What You Will Do:

1. Accounting Functions:
• Prepare revenue, expenses, and digital assets for month-end close.
• Prepare workpapers for Token Sales, Trading, Lending, Staking, etc.
• Understand intercompany activities (multiple subsidiaries and foreign entities).
• Assist with bills/AP processes (wires, credit cards).
• Cross-review workpapers for all entities.
• Gather capitalize software information and allocation to ledger.
• Knowledge of consolidations (IFRS/GAAP and foreign currencies).

2. Finance Functions:
• Assist in consolidated financial statement preparation.
• Assist with weekly cash flow reports and runway projections.
• Track expenses from 1x spends.
• Propose process and efficiency improvements.
• Ad-hoc projects.

3. Audit and Tax Support:
• Complete audits of multiple entities.
• Assist with tax preparation.
• Prepare proper audit/tax documentation.
• Prepare technical accounting memos.
• Build relationships with outside accounting firms.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years senior accountant experience.
• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
• Fintech background or interest in new technologies (e.g., blockchain).
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Knowledge of other tools (Bill.com/Brex/Linear/Coda).
• Startup experience (crypto experience preferred).
• Crypto experience preferred, but not required.
