The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a business partner to senior leadership focusing on Corporate FP&A. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing management reports (budget, financial projections), supporting strategic initiatives, and conducting complex operational/financial analysis across business units.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute financial planning processes (annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, long-term planning).
- Analyze monthly financial results against budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Partner with senior leaders, translating business problems into analyzable questions for optimal results.
- Build financial and operating models to solve complex problems and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop actionable recommendations in a clear format.
- Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and systems.
- Develop and maintain financial models to measure client account performance, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand operational drivers, translate them to financial impact, and manage spend.
- Identify profitability improvement areas and hold operational leaders accountable.
- Collaborate on forecasting and budgeting for client accounts.
- Create simplified, actionable solutions balancing big-picture thinking and attention to detail.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends/variances/KPIs, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Handle time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Position Requirements:
- Education: CPA or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Public Accounting/Consulting or similar analyst role in a large, complex organization.
- Skills: Strong background in corporate finance, excellent financial modeling and Excel skills, effective communication and influence, ability to work cross-functionally.
