Full-Time Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

The Role: This pivotal leadership role will shape the Finance team and establish the FP&A function. Reporting to the CFO, you'll build and scale FP&A while developing the processes, systems, and strategies to support company growth and ensure long-term financial health. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our work as we scale.

Responsibilities:

1. Support executive team in understanding financial implications of strategic decisions.
2. Build long-range plans and size strategic initiatives with department leaders.
3. Oversee annual budget process, track performance, and manage rolling forecasts focusing on operational excellence.
4. Improve operating teams' understanding of financial statements and budget adherence through transparent analysis.
5. Establish, track, and monitor operational KPIs to drive efficiency and alignment with company goals.
6. Define and report on critical business metrics, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
7. Provide data-driven insights to inform strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI.
8. Partner with operating teams to deliver recommendations supporting revenue growth, profitability, and efficiency.
9. Prepare Board of Directors meeting materials accurately and clearly.
10. Continuously enhance FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies.
11. Work closely with CFO to develop and execute financial strategies, initiatives, and key investments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in growing organizations.
• Advanced knowledge of Google ecosystem (super-user proficiency in Google Sheets).
• Advanced understanding of GAAP financial statements.
• Forward-thinking problem-solving skills with a knack for executing with precision.
• Strong ability to connect financial data to strategic objectives and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coding experience (e.g., Java, Python).
• Manufacturing finance experience.
• Exposure to public company requirements.
