The Role:
Minted is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer. This role will be responsible for owning the cloud infrastructure of our prod and non-prod environments. We’re looking for a skilled engineer that is comfortable coding tools that automate the provisioning of our cloud infrastructure environments.
The engineering team at Minted is in the process of re-platforming and re-architecting several services and applications within our ecosystem. This is a great time to join and help to guide and build the next generation platform for all of engineering.
We have offices located in San Francisco, CA and we are considering remote candidates.
You Will:
Write software that contributes to the automation of cloud infrastructure as we transition from a monolith to a service oriented architecture
Configure and support production monitoring, logging and CI/CD pipelines
Partner with engineering teams to empower a successful developer experience
Help to introduce and drive more platform level best practices and standards across all of the engineering organization
You Are:
An experienced software engineer with a specialty in cloud infrastructure
Passionate about enabling engineering teams via automation and tooling
Well versed on platform technologies, configuration management, cloud services, such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS
Able and willing to mentor others
You Have:
5+ years of experience as an DevOps, Infrastructure or Site Reliability engineer
Experience building CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins
Experience working with AWS
Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk to ensure system visibility and proactive issue detection
Knowledge of cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, and configuration management tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks, including Docker and Kubernete
