Full-Time Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will develop standards, processes, tooling, and systems for the SentiLink platform. Your focus will be improving system reliability and efficiency, and collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to build better systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Construct infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
2. Develop and enforce best practices, preventing drift between configurations and deployments.
3. Design infrastructure to enable rapid software development and data processing.
4. Implement monitoring tools, dashboards, and functionalities across the platform.
5. Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for high availability and efficient workflows.
6. Develop strategies for cloud identity and access management.
7. Collaborate with SRE and security teams to maintain secure infrastructure.
8. Monitor and optimize platform costs.
9. Oversee and operate Kubernetes and service mesh infrastructure.
10. Investigate operational alerts, pinpoint root causes, and complete root cause analysis.
11. Examine database issues, developing and improving architecture, schema, and configuration for performance.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• AWS cloud infrastructure, IaC, and cloud identity & access management experience.
• Cloud networking experience (DNS, CDNs, load balancers, VPCs, subnets, security groups).
• Experience scaling/migrating production systems with minimal downtime.
• Experience with observability platforms, monitoring dashboards, and high-quality alerting.
• Software delivery pipeline (CI/CD) and DevOps tooling experience (a plus).
• Secure container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) experience (a plus).
• Enterprise-size database experience (PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, OpenSearch) (a plus).
• Python or Golang experience (a plus).
• Distributed system development experience (a plus).
• US work authorization and residency.
