Overview: ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Manager for Finance Data Governance & Metadata Strategy. This role operationalizes governance processes, manages critical data elements, and drives the adoption of governance tools and policies across Finance & Strategy.
Role Summary: Leads the business data governance function for the Finance & Strategy organization, ensuring finance data is trusted, discoverable, and ready for AI-driven decision-making.
What you get to do in this role:
- Governance Operations, Metrics, & Enablement: Operationalize data governance processes for Finance & Strategy. Lead the Finance Data Council, oversee master data and hierarchy governance, define and maintain critical data elements, establish and maintain metric and KPI governance, develop and monitor data quality rules, and co-lead the Finance Data Foundation Program.
- Lead data governance enablement and training across Finance & Strategy: Drive adoption of governance policies and enterprise data management tools. Champion a data-first culture.
- Innovation & AI-Enabled Governance: Leverage generative AI and automation to improve efficiency and intelligence in governance operations. Integrate AI governance practices into finance workflows.
To be successful in this role you have:
- 8+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality roles.
- Deep understanding of metadata, data lineage, master data, and metric governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to operationalize governance and drive adoption across a business function.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes
