Full-Time Senior Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Senior Pricing Analyst to support and optimize monetization strategies for our suite of mobile apps in the B2C segment, including yoga, workouts, and nutrition/diet apps.

The role involves building business cases using internal data, external market trends, and competitive insights to drive pricing decisions. You will analyze the impact of pricing experiments, such as introducing free trials, subscription tiers, or discounts, and provide actionable recommendations to improve key business metrics like customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights
• Leverage internal and external data to develop models and forecasts that evaluate pricing and monetization strategies
• Use statistical and predictive modeling techniques to assess the impacts of pricing decisions on metrics such as ARPU, churn, and LTV
• Conduct pre- and post-implementation analyses of pricing and monetization changes to measure their effects on revenue, user acquisition, and retention
• Maintain detailed reporting systems to monitor the performance of monetization activities, providing actionable insights for future improvements
• Business Case Development
• Build comprehensive business cases for pricing and monetization experiments, integrating data analysis and market research
• Create and implement pricing tactics for app subscriptions, complementary subscriptions, and add-ons, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends
• Evaluate and optimize pricing strategies across models, including one-time purchases, tiered subscriptions, freemium offerings, and in-app purchases
• Develop pricing strategies for lifecycle offers, tailored to various stages of the user journey (introductory offers, mid-life discounts, or end-of-life deals), as well as for seasonal sales to boost revenue during peak periods
• Identify opportunities to optimize pricing for different geographic regions and user segments to maximize profitability
• Collaboration & Communication
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to validate assumptions and align on business goals
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and actionable formats (e.g., reports, dashboards, presentations)

Professional Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, expertise in pricing strategy will be preferred
• Experience in the mobile app industry with a focus on subscription-based B2C applications
• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to manipulate and extract data from various databases or data warehouses
• Experience with Tableau (the primary tool), Power BI, QlikView, or similar tools
• Experience with Python or R to perform advanced statistical analysis and build predictive models
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, including test design, execution, and analysis, with the ability to interpret results and provide actionable recommendations
• Deep understanding of key app performance metrics, including CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), ARPU, and LTV
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data analysis challenges and present insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail: ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting and analytics solutions
• Proficiency in English at a minimum Upper-Intermediate level
