Full-Time Senior Principal Data Owner, Capital Markets

Senior Principal, Data Owner, Capital Markets will lead the strategy, acquisition, governance, and productization of data assets to support multiple capital market client use cases and clients’ key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute the strategy for managing and monetizing data assets aligned with organizational growth goals for the capital markets space.
2. Conduct extensive market research to identify relevant data sources and stay updated with emerging data trends, client needs, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
3. Execute test contracts, retrieve testing deliverables, negotiate new contracts, and create custom SLAs to secure the best terms and value.
4. Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize data initiatives based on business impact and clients’ stated needs.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for all capital markets data-related matters. Liaise with business units, product teams, and external partners to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
6. Identify opportunities to commercialize data assets, including partnerships, licensing, and new product development.
7. Monitor emerging trends in capital markets and data technologies to anticipate future needs and opportunities.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• Master's Degree - Preferred

Essential Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in capital markets, preferably in data-related roles.
• Deep understanding of capital markets, including financial instruments, trading, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in data strategy and monetization.
• Strong analytical skills.
