Full-Time Senior Product Manager - Data Governance

As a Senior Product Manager for Data Governance, you'll shape how modern enterprises manage, secure, and derive value from data assets.

Your Responsibilities Include:

1. Drive product vision for Atlan's governance suite, including granular access controls, SCIM provisioning, custom metadata frameworks, and policy orchestration.
2. Partner with engineering to define technical direction and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
3. Build relationships with enterprise customers, conducting user research and feedback sessions.
4. Translate complex governance needs into intuitive features, balancing security and usability.
5. Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, design, sales, and customer success for a cohesive governance experience.
6. Define success metrics, track adoption, and iterate based on data.
7. Develop go-to-market strategies for new governance features, including positioning, competitive analysis, and launch planning.
8. Collaborate with marketing to articulate technical capabilities to diverse audiences.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven product management experience with data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, metadata management, and distributed data systems.
• Working knowledge of the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt).
• Experience translating technical requirements into product roadmaps.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and possess excellent communication skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
