The Role: The Senior Project Manager manages cross-departmental projects and SaaS solution implementations in healthcare, focusing on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), billing, and practice management solutions. This role requires strong requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and project delivery skills. Experience driving projects in value-based care, managing compliance, and ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead SaaS solution implementation projects (RCM, billing, coding, managed care).
- Document project activities (plans, notes, agendas, reports).
- Facilitate requirements gathering and manage deliverables across departments.
- Support organizational changes related to RCM and practice management.
- Create process maps, training guides, and documentation for team adoption.
- Understand the big picture and execute client project goals.
- Drive decision-making, planning, and prioritizing deliverables and resources across multiple projects.
- Exhibit strong executive presence and communication skills, with a passion for technology and a mission-driven organization.
- Facilitate cross-department collaboration and communication.
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of project management experience, specifically within healthcare technology and RCM.
- Experience with EMR and EHR system integration preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience valued.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of billing, collections, coding, and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of technology, strategy, and design lifecycle with an intuitive grasp of operational workflows.
- Expertise in Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence, Wrike, Smartsheet).
- Proficient in managing project scope, resource matrix, risks, and go-to-market steps.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate clients and teams.
- Experience reporting on KPIs and Critical Success Factors (CSFs).
- Ability to work East Coast hours.
Nice to Haves: PMP/ACP certification, Scrum Alliance certifications, Product definition/requirements experience, CRM platform experience.
Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Salary Expectations: Contractor $90-$120 USD / Hour
