Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in testing healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in designing and executing automated test scripts, creating comprehensive test plans, and managing complex testing scenarios. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automated Test Design & Execution: Develop and implement automated test scripts for healthcare applications to ensure robust functionality and performance. Utilize tools and frameworks effectively to automate repetitive testing tasks.
- Test Planning & Execution: Prioritize test scenarios, create detailed execution plans, and prepare test environments to support thorough testing processes. Conduct functional, application, and regression testing to validate software quality.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and other essential testing documents. Interpret requirement documents and update test documentation accordingly. Provide detailed analysis and management reports on testing progress and results.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with customers and stakeholders during the test cycle to address issues and gather feedback. Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication across technical and non-technical groups.
- Business Acumen: Acquire and apply knowledge of the customer's business and industry-specific needs to ensure that testing aligns with business objectives and requirements.
- Problem-Solving & Analysis: Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and recommend solutions. Manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in testing healthcare applications.
- At least 8 years of experience designing automated tests and creating test scripts.
- Extensive experience in prioritizing test scenarios, creating execution plans, and preparing test environments.
- Proven ability to perform functional, application, and regression testing on moderately complex systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various software development methodologies.
- Skilled in interpreting requirement documents and updating test documents as needed.
- Strong familiarity with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of the customer's business in the assigned area.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Katalon software is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and associated document templates.
- Knowledge of company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
- Experience with existing and planned software technology, as well as global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
