Job Details

SaaS Systems Engineer will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation of SaaS delivery environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and quality of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of production environment to ensure optimal service and SLA adherence.
  • Identify and resolve problems affecting service delivery across applications, shared services, middleware, and databases.
  • Operate and maintain systems for provisioning new customers, applications, and features.
  • Proactively address trends to stay ahead of customer needs and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in software design and development for operational efficiency and architecture services.
  • Software deployment and configuration management in QA and Production environments.
  • Develop tools and utilities to support operations and SaaS delivery.
  • Provide level 2/3 support for customer-initiated issues.
  • Maintain and improve IT infrastructure (servers, laptops, networks, telecommunications).
  • Deliver excellent help desk support to employees.
  • Manage vendors for hardware, software, and services.
  • Identify systems deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Document forecasts, plans, and resolutions.
  • Innovate, promote, and drive adoption of tools, technologies, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years corporate infrastructure experience
  • 4+ years Windows environment administration (Hyper-V)
  • 5+ years evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise technologies
  • 3+ years relational databases and SQL
  • 3+ years AWS/Azure experience
  • 3+ years scripting and programming
  • 2+ years help desk, network, and telecommunications experience

Skills:

  • Automation (VB, PowerShell)
  • Virtualized infrastructure deployment/management
  • HTML, SCC, Java, ASP.NET
