Full-Time Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The Opportunity: At Flywire, we have ecosystems that help our teams deploy their applications quickly and securely, ensuring compliance with Fintech regulations (such as PCI, SOC II, or HIPAA) while adhering to cloud-native principles and maximizing developer freedom.

In This Work, You Will:

• Work across the entire stack (frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, etc.).
• Contribute to Flywire’s development ecosystem vision.
• Collaborate closely with Security, QA, Support, Analytics, or Engineering Productivity teams.
• Support developers in using the ecosystem and promoting best practices.
• Support on-call rotation and continuous improvement for production incidents.
• Maintain and enhance Flywire’s internal CI/CD platforms.

Qualifications:

We seek "t-shaped" individuals comfortable with generalizing specializations. Although various platforms and languages are used, the team primarily uses Ruby and Golang for tooling. Experience with these languages and testing techniques (TDD or BDD) is essential. Experience with container ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, build systems, and CI/CD tools is highly valuable. A continuous improvement mindset and strong sense of ownership are key.

Strong communication, collaboration, and empathy skills are crucial for effectively working with fellow developers and building relationships.
