Full-Time Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

M3 Global Research, an M3 company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its cutting-edge engineering team. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, developing complex applications using Agile methodologies. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of software development concepts and lifecycles, object-oriented design, and common design patterns and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the development team, ensuring efficient project execution aligned with Agile methodologies and quality standards.
• Design, implement, and deliver highly scalable solutions using modern cloud-based architectures.
• Continuously develop, release, monitor, and improve systems/services, fostering accountability within the team.
• Establish and promote software development processes and best practices, providing mentorship to team members.
• Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) for alignment and progress tracking.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders ensuring transparency, progress communication, and clear identification of roadblocks/timelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop impactful solutions and deliver high-quality applications.
• Take responsibility for team deliverables, maintaining scope, delivering work iteratively, and embracing Agile principles.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Node.js, building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle or similar).
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular) and familiarity with Bootstrap.
• Experience with additional languages/frameworks (PL/SQL, Java/JSP, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Ruby, ColdFusion) is a plus.
• Proficient in Git for collaborative development and version control.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top Ten, SANS CWE, commitment to adapting to security threats.
