Job Details
The Senior Staff Medical Science Liaison (Senior Staff MSL) will support academic and community physicians (KOLs) by sharing the latest research and clinical data to promote the company's products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Develop strong, professional relationships with key academic and community-based physicians.
- Create, update, and present educational content to KOLs.
- Coordinate and lead presentations at academic and scientific meetings.
- Serve as the clinical expert and primary resource for the Sales & Marketing teams.
- Work closely with the marketing and managed care teams to engage KOLs in various initiatives.
- Serve as MSL Lead to cross-functional planning and facilitation of Clinical Advisory Boards.
- Collaborate on scientific forums and focus groups
- Conduct research with Guardant datasets alongside collaborators.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a university degree and typically 12 years of related experience; 8 years and a Master’s degree; 5 years and a PhD; or 3 years and a PharmD/MD.
- Previous MSL experience required, knowledge of biotechnology, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Significant travel to meet with KOLs, attend events, and conferences up to 75% travel.
