Job Details
Administer instances of on cloud (Azure & AWS) and on-premises Databases.
Optimize database maintenance plan and fix high availability database server issues.
Perform database maintenance/task streamlining.
Investigate backup/restore issues.
Optimize database replication and disaster recovery.
Second-tier incident management.
Investigation of root cause of incidents and proposal of short-term and long-term solutions.
Perform on-demand database backup and restore.
Monitor SQL server cluster performance and anticipate issues.
Patch/Update of database servers/infrastructure.
Assist in automation of on-demand database backups.
Respond to requests for database creation, user privilege assignment.
Bachelor's plus 10 years of relevant experience.
Working experience with Azure, AWS cloud and on-premises databases.
Good knowledge of SQL server cluster and update of servers.
Experience in administration and maintenance of databases.
Ability to offer technical solutions in order to resolve technical issues and enhance efficiency.
Good command of English, equal to C2 according to CERF.
