Job Details

The Customer Outcomes team at ServiceNow helps customers achieve their business outcomes by providing guidance. As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will consult with customers and configure the ServiceNow ITOM products.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Configure Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Service Mapping and Discovery capabilities using ServiceNow best practices.
  • Support efforts for ITOM-specific process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis.
  • Advise customers to improve their ITOM capabilities.
  • Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and ITOM Solution technology.
  • Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy and knowledge transfer.
  • Lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery, providing oversight and unit testing.
  • Develop required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.).
  • Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology.
  • Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement practices.
  • Support sales activities when required.
  • Provide training and mentoring to other team members.
  • Travel up to 50% annually.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and Solution-Specific Certified Implementation Specialist designations.
  • 8+ years of configuration/development experience for technologies, including integrations and portals.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult within ITOM.
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
  • Understanding with leading ITOM practices and related systems and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Proven team player and team builder.
