The Customer Outcomes team at ServiceNow helps customers achieve their business outcomes by providing guidance. As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will consult with customers and configure the ServiceNow ITOM products.
What you get to do in this role:
- Configure Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Service Mapping and Discovery capabilities using ServiceNow best practices.
- Support efforts for ITOM-specific process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis.
- Advise customers to improve their ITOM capabilities.
- Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and ITOM Solution technology.
- Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy and knowledge transfer.
- Lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery, providing oversight and unit testing.
- Develop required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.).
- Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology.
- Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement practices.
- Support sales activities when required.
- Provide training and mentoring to other team members.
- Travel up to 50% annually.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and Solution-Specific Certified Implementation Specialist designations.
- 8+ years of configuration/development experience for technologies, including integrations and portals.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult within ITOM.
- Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
- Understanding with leading ITOM practices and related systems and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
- Proven team player and team builder.
